SHH is proud to present CLEAN/555. Providence, RI is Home to the enigmatic 555, an artist whose  staggering body of work has only circulated between a small circle of tape traders and allies. "BK" is a 10 minute piece about the darkest of places, executed in one divided movement. An electro-acoustic cacophony of garbage electronics recorded under a fine layer of soil gives way to  singular, rumbling bass and the underworld grimace of the primeval ogre-- 555. 

"Manifest In The Calloused Light" is the latest crude marking by Clean. Emerging up out of excrement and mud to deliver a white-hot percussive volley of searing noise before sinking back into the primordial muck of their down-tempo damaged metal.

SHH-03 Anonymous - The Whisperer In Darkness 7"

This disc is the only known recording of the events of the night of the May-Eve Sabbat, 1915, which took place near the mouth of a cave where the western slope of the Dark Mountains rises out of Lee's Swamp in Townshend, Vermont.

Submitted anonymously to the SHH offices, it is not quite a musical disc, but an art object that appears in the H.P.L. story by the same name. Edition of 10 lathe cut records on hard plastic. Sealed with beeswax. Listen to it HERE.
